Meet Akash Muralidharan, Darshini Narayanan, and Sanjana Susaritha Ravi — the founder trio behind Vizha — an event curation company where food, clothing, design and more meet creativity with a conscious touch.
Destiny brought Akash, Darshini, and Sanjana together – once classmates, now business partners – with a shared passion for architecture and design, after their paths diverged post-graduation from MIDAS, Chennai.

Years ago, Darshini’s wedding reunited the Vizha’s team, leading to a fruitful collaboration. Their respective skills in design, culinary arts, and creativity came together seamlessly as they worked on creating a memorable wedding.

Their combined interest and ideology culminated in the inception of Vizha which was born sometime in April 2021.

The company started with weddings and events but expanded to collaborate on art-related projects nationwide.
Besides designing, it was the team’s shared love for the Tamil language that propelled them to work towards a common goal of promoting all things local and native.

The Vizha dinner series includes four dinner events, each representing the seasonal changes of Tamil months. The dinners celebrate local flavours and ingredients, with three months grouped together to represent a quarter.

The first dinner was a trial with friends, but later, the team selectively invited participants who were passionate and familiar with the theme for a more immersive experience.

As a multidisciplinary design team, Vizha’s core is not easily definable. The team takes pride in their work as event curators, specialising in weddings and events with a holistic approach. They curate every aspect of the occasion, including menu and design, to provide the best possible experience for their clients.
