Local Finds, Big Smiles: Our First GoTN Mini Marketplace!

On October 20th, 2024, we hosted our first-ever GoTN Mini Marketplace pop-up, and it was nothing short of a heartwarming day! Held at Backyard, Adyar, the cozy, homely venue made everyone feel welcome from the moment they walked in. This pop-up wasn’t just about shopping, it was about connecting, celebrating local talent, and making meaningful memories.

As people of all ages strolled in throughout the day, the energy in the air was incredible. From parents browsing for thoughtful gifts to kids lighting up at the sight of vibrant colours and unique designs, everyone found something they loved. And, of course, our fashion line-up stole the show. With beautiful pieces in linen, ethnic wear, western styles, and even adorable kidswear, the fashion stalls drew in crowds eager to find a piece that truly spoke to them. For those with an eye for jewelry, there was no shortage of stunning options. Beautiful, intricate pieces were on display, making sure every shopper left feeling that extra bit of glam.

The pop-up was also a delight for art and home decor lovers. From handcrafted jewelry to beautiful home decor and art pieces. It was like stepping into a curated world of artistry and passion, and the warmth from our vendors brought each product to life.

Adding a beautiful layer of purpose to the event was our waste collection drive by the wonderful declutterers from Wasted 360. Visitors had the chance to not only shop sustainably but also drop off items they wanted to declutter and recycle responsibly.

It was a heartening sight to see so many come together in support of a greener world. Overall, the GoTN Mini Marketplace was so much more than a shopping event. It was a day full of smiles, stories, and the joy of building community. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us, and we can’t wait to keep growing this vision.
